The wiggle has landed. Hi everyone, first of all I apologize for the 3-month hiatus. University and other things eat me up lately, but here I am, able to snatch a few minutes. JM Reyes in Manila.
Last June, I joined Japinoy.com, an online community not just for Japanese-blooded Filipinos but for all Filipinos who have flair of Japan as well. After all, I’m a 6th generation Nikkei-jin. There I found a new bunch of friends; two of them are already close to mine. It seems that Tokyo once again lured my heart.
New university. New stories. I just moved my bags and stuff to my new second home. Away from the strictly conservative and elitist way of life of my former university, I can now clearly speak my mind and deal with real people and real emotions. No more stupid bourgeois mentality and robotic people and no more dead air for press freedom.
And the happiest birthday I’ve ever had, I had on a very busy Saturday. More to come in the following days. (Written by JM Reyes, Manila)
